[Contract-based] Sales Manager | Cape Cod Moms
Responsibilities
The Cape Cod Moms Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales & Advertising and is responsible for managing local sales outreach for Cape Cod Moms. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Advertising, the Sales Manager supports the growth of the business by creating advertising relationships between local clients and Cape Cod Moms.
This is a commission-based remote contract position with significant opportunity for growth.
Services
The Services will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Assume responsibility for all Outreach Strategy for Cape Cod Moms: champion advertising accounts and be the lead person in charge of the initial marketing to potential clients of digital advertising buys.
- Establish & manage partnerships with brands that have an audience with the Company: With guidance from Director of Sales & Advertising, seek sponsorship from local businesses that serve the Cape Cod Moms audience of area moms and families (e.g. health care, childcare, retail, activities, lawyers, other products/services).
- Educate clients and agencies regarding the value of marketing with the Company’s multi-channel media advertising services.
- Utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/ maintain Company Strategic Partnerships.
- Keep excellent records of outreach and conversations. At time of interest, create proposals for advertising to deliver to potential clients.
- With Director of Sales & Advertising and Owner, develop Sales Strategy for each year, meeting or exceeding annual and quarterly goals.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Willingness to flex in job responsibilities as the needs of the business change
Demonstrated ability to sell
Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of digital marketing and advertising placement
Strong knowledge of local readership base + their needs/wants
Belief in the Wicked Good Mom Media mission and values
