CODCon

Hyannis Public Library and the Yarmouth Town Libraries are so excited to announce our very first ComicCon–CODCon!
It will be held at HPL Monday, April 15 during Barnstable Public Schools‘ April vacation.
Some exciting events that will be included are panel discussions on using sequential art for storytelling and what it’s like being a voice actor for comics, Dungeons and Dragons drop-ins, Magic the Gathering, vendors, a cosplay contest, a gaming station and artists running workshops. There will also be displays of art, both inside and outside of the Library, a chance to add your mark on the Cordial Eye Gallery‘s Community Art Wall and opportunities to create your own comics and zines! This project is supported by grants from Mass Cultural Council and the Mid-Cape Cultural Council.
